SITUATION:
A one of a kind assisted living facility associated with Fauquier Health; the Villa at Suffield Meadows is nestled in the heart of Warrenton, Virginia. Designed to provide residents the highest level of independence possible along with an enriched and fulfilling lifestyle, owners and staff promote a healthy and happy atmosphere. Part of that design is a fitness facility specifically tailored towards senior and rehabilitative wellness. When it came time to furnish the equipment, owners turned to Heartline to get the job done.
SOLUTION:
In order to accommodate a unique fitness facility aimed at senior wellness, Heartline turned to its SciFit product line. SciFit is the world leader when it comes to wheel chair accessibility and ADA compliance on all its fitness products. Two SciFit Pro II Total Body machines were installed combining an iso-strength program with bi-directional resistance, to provide a total body strength and cardio workout all on one machine. The Pro II’s adaptability makes it the perfect machine for physical therapy or total body workouts. Also, installed was a NuStep TRS 4000 Recumbent Cross Trainer which provides a low impact, comfortably seated workout, and can be seen prominently on the latest season of Biggest Loser! To complete the room, Heartline installed a Matrix G3 Functional trainer, which provides multiple single and dual cable weight stack workouts. Each machine is a perfect fit for an active senior lifestyle!
