SITUATION:
By far the largest capital project facility Calvert County has ever undertaken, the new 41,000 square foot indoor aquatic center will be the cornerstone for recreation activities within the county. The new two story building features a ten-lane, 50 meter pool, diving well, leisure pool and spa. With aquatic features in tow, county officials set to complement the building with wet and dry meeting areas, offices, locker rooms, and most importantly, a state of the art exercise room that citizens of the county could take pride in.
SOLUTION:
County officials turned to Heartline fitness to install the room they desired. After reviewing the allotted space, Heartline territory manager Jason Malecki developed an ideal layout that would give county residents all the options needed for a total body workout. To get the blood flowing, Heartline installed a series of Matrix cardio equipment, each unit complete with 15” LCD TVs. Walking, running, or cycling, residents had all the choices needed for a full cardio workout. To get those muscles pumping a series of Paramount dual-selectorized strength and Functional trainer were installed. Both upper and lower body workouts were just steps apart from each other. After their swim residents could dry off, enter their state of the art fitness room, and get the workout they desired.
