YMCAs are collectively the largest provider and promoter of health and fitness programs, active in more than 10,000 communities across the country. Locally, the Rappahannock Area YMCA Association has been voted one of the leaders in their field. Continuing the YMCA’s commitment to fitness excellence, and providing the most up-to-date equipment, the King George YMCA leaned on Heartline recently to update its cardio and strength offering.

SOLUTION:

As a progressive YMCA chapter, King George Y has always been a leader in providing its members with a comprehensive approach to cardiovascular and strength training. King George Y’s approach just needed a little tweaking. After member surveys, discussions with management, it was determined that King George needed to upgrade its bike area, add a new style bi-lateral leg curl, and a new core-lifting system. Heartline specified Star Trac’s P-Series recumbent and upright bikes for cycling, Star Trac’s unique, bi-lateral, kneeing leg curl, and Star Trac’s new innovative Maxx Rack for core-lifting. The Maxx Rack’s versatility and safety features were key factors in management’s purchase decision. It’s this constant tweaking and attention to detail that continues to separate the Rappahannock Area YMCA chapter from the pack!
