SITE OF THE MONTH (March 2010)
Robert J. Dipietro CC
Laurel, MD
SITUATION:
Constructed in 1992, the Robert J. Dipietro Community Center is an 18,305 sq.ft. building, featuring a gymnasium, multi-purpose room, pre-school, dance room, game room, and a fitness center. Serving thousands of county residents, the center provides classes, workshops, events, and clubs year round. However, many residents visit the community center daily, primarily to get their work out in. With continual use over the years the original fitness equipment has taken a beating and eventually required replacement. Understanding the need for an overhaul, the City of Laurel turned to Heartline for solutions.
SOLUTION:
The first step in the revamp process was to get the old equipment out. Heartline soon dispatched a crew, and by day’s end, the old room was cleared and ready for a makeover. The following morning Heartline’s trucks arrived loaded with brand new, state of the art, Matrix cardio and single station strength machines. Matrix cardio couples a sleek, modern design with comfortable, yet challenging workouts that users love. To complement the Matrix cardio, Heartline installed Matrix G3 strength equipment offering a sophisticated design that mimics the body’s natural movements providing an excellent workout to wide variety of body sizes and strength levels. A win-win, great equipment for county residents, and another satisfied Heartline client.
